Mark R. Reinhart has been a lifelong student, teacher and practitioner of the Energetic Arts. Beginning at age 5 with music Mark’s studies continue. He is an Alumni of the Berklee College of Music, Boston, MA. He most notably performed with Jay Black and the Americans (This Magic Moment, Cara MIa, etc.) for over 36 years. Mark’s Eastern studies began in the mid 1960s and continue to this day. Mark is proficient and teaches numerous styles and systems of both Qigong and Taijiquan, in addition to his extensive and ongoing studies in all aspects of the Eastern martial, medical and spiritual traditions; holding a Masters Degree in Medical Qigong. He has been a Professional Member of the National Qigong Association (NQA), serving on the Board of Directors for fourteen years and sitting as President for four years. Mark is a regular presenter at the NQA National Conferences. He also teaches, lectures and presents at various events across the country. Mark is the creator of Three Rivers/12 Steps: Qigong for Recovery which combines the 12 Step Philosophy of AA with Chinese Philosophy to help address addiction and the addictive mindset. His book Thunder Over Wind… Another Doorway into the Wisdom of the Yijing (I Ching) draws on his close to fifty-year experience with the Yijing providing an introduction to this ancient oracle. Chinese and Western Astrology round out Mark’s eclectic life work dedicated to self-empowerment of the individual through education.
